In case you already have Pro 2 and want to upgrade to Pro 3, you’ll need 49. To purchase them, you’ll need 99 each and you’ll have lifetime access. Otherwise I'll sadly have to go back to Serato. Traktor Pro 2 and Traktor Pro 3 are not free. It's sounds nit picky but you guys know that in a live set ever second matters and Serato allows me to find my tracks about 80% faster and in multiple ways.
Traktor doesn't allow you to use the keyboard to do any searches or jumping unless you are in the search bar so you have to do a shitload of scrolling and if you have 60+ crates like I do then it's super painful and a waste of time.
Anyways it goes like this I have always wondered why Serato/Rane wont just compete more aggressively with NI adding a more direct controller alternatives to what NI makes with Traktor and controllers like the S4,S2,F1,X1 even adding the very well perceived compatibility with. When I'm in the Crate Tree and want to jump to my HIP HOP crate I should be able to start typing HIP and BOOM! I should jump to the Hip Hop Crate. Im no Serato expert (Im not even 100 sure Rane owns Serato) but I have understood them as 'that other dj software'. If i'm in a crate I should be able to click BPM to sort in BPM order.then type 120 and BOOM! I should jump to 120 in the list. My biggest frustration with Traktor is that you can't use the keyboard to do fast searches or jump around in a crate. Search window, scrolling through crates and there is also a 2nd window above that displays all your file folders. In Serato you can find your tracks multipe ways:
So when this guy is changing me we have this problem ,serato sound is much louder.I am not sure why is that,but that happened to me in the past and i am not sure why.Also that. Btw am using traktor scratch pro2 ,audio 6+ kontrol x1 or (sometimes) S4.I noticed that the sound out of the serato is much louder. It's great if you are playing a pre-rehersed set but if you are spinning on the fly and making last second decisions then it just doesn't work for me. Hi ,i am djing at a club with another dj who is using Serato+serato sound card. However I just can't believe how non-user friendly Traktor is when it comes to finding tracks quickly and easily. I also love most of the features in Traktor. Let me start by saying a LOVE my S4 Controller!
